PAST EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
SEATTLE KENNEL CLUB "MEET THE BREED"
For over twenty years SBTCPS Members participated in the Seattle Kennel Club's "Meet the Breed" event which was held in conjunction with their annual show. Each year the dog loving public came by the thousands to this celebration of dogs held in downtown Seattle. Club members and their Staffords spent two whole days at the booth meeting the public, answering questions, and sharing our wonderful breed. Sadly, 2019 was the last year for Seattle Kennel Club in downtown Seattle, and they closed the crate door on this event.
We recently learned that the Tacoma Kennel Club, in it's new show location at the Tacoma Dome, will be hosting a Meet the Breed event in April and we plan to be there!

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for our Annual Meeting, November 18, 2017, at 12:00 noon, El Lago Mexican Restaurant in Monroe. Enjoy a great afternoon of friendship, fun, and good food, and maybe take home some cool stuff from our silent auction table! If you have something you'd like to donate for the auction, please bring it with you. This is one of our main fundraisers for the year, and we greatly appreciate your donations!

2017 SBTCPS Specialty Shows
Well another successful Specialty is in the books. This year's show was held in conjunction with the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club show in Sequim, WA. This was a new location for us. The change in venue was not without a few difficulties, but the show site was beautiful, the exhibitors friendly, and of course there were all of those stunning Staffords! Thank you to all our exhibitors for coming to our show, and to all who helped and supported us. This doesn't happen without you!
The SBTCPS congratulates all of our winners over the weekend. A special congratulations goes out to Sandra Carter and Michelle Bryant on winning Best of Breed (and best Owner Handled) both days, as well as a Group 1 and RESERVE BEST IN SHOW on Saturday with their boy Duncan, GCHB CH Shortyrocks The Vindicator! Another very special "Congratulations" goes to Junior Cory Hebert on her Junior Showmanship Master Class wins and Reserve Best Junior Handler awards for both Saturday and Sunday. Cory and her dog Martini, GCHB CH Classy Staffys Chocolate Martini at Andaney CA, are a great team!
Last but not least, Cassie Malloy and her boy Hamish, CH Hasweth Travellin Man RN NAP NJP NFP RATO CGC, earned a score of 196 and 1st Place in Beginner Novice Obedience both days. With the qualifying score on Sunday, they earned their Beginner Novice title! Go team Hamish!
